In an effort to keep the tradition of the annual Hess family reunion going, we have reserved shelter #2 for our 2017 reunion. There are electrical outlets, a grill, and water; restrooms are next to our shelter.
Lunch will be served at 1:00. Bring your favorite drink, dessert, and side dish, we will take care of the main dish.
We will take up a small donation to cover the cost of the shelter and food.
Fun, Music, Story Telling, Corn Hole, more...; Bring a comfortable chair. Hopefully some of the talented Hess' will bring their instruments and we will have some good music.
The park is great, bring your bike, swimsuit, and wear comfortable clothes; walking trail, swimming pool, and playground too.
Bring old photos and share a story of your favorite Hess family moment.
Cemetery Meeting and Service at Fletchers Ridge
Paw Paw and Maw Maw Hess always made it a priority to be at the cemetery each year on reunion weekend. Many of us have not continued the tradition, as it is difficult to go back to the day when we said goodbye to our loved ones. But for the sake of keeping the tradition going, and family fellowship alive, try to come to this service.
Church starts at 11am.
NOTE: Any other past traditions or ideas can be done on this day too; this is an effort to keep the reunion going, so bring those who have not been in recent years and keep the Hess family united.
